PulsePoint Group Senior Associate

About PulsePoint Group:

PulsePoint Group, a subsidiary of ICF, is an established management, communications, and digital consulting firm with an entrepreneurial spirit that rewards intellect, creativity and commitment.

We work primarily with chief communications or chief marketing officers at some of the world’s largest, most respected companies. Each member of our team brings a unique skill set to the firm, but we specialize in organizational design, digital strategy, change management, issues and crisis communication, and branding.

We are a rapidly growing, fast-paced workplace with opportunities to learn, travel and engage with senior and influential business leaders. Our culture is meritocratic, intellectually curious and compassionate with a healthy dose of competition. We are seeking a Senior Associate who is ready and willing to be a dedicated member of our close-knit team and excel as trusted advisors to our clients.

Position Description:

Welcome to your new job. Here are a few of the things you may be asked to do in the first month at work:

  • Design custom metrics to measure reputational risk for an enterprise
  • Assess the organizational structure of the communications function at a Fortune 500 company and present a recommendation to the Chief Communications Officer
  • Build content for an enterprise social media training program that will reach hundreds of tenured professionals
  • Fly to Japan to be in a meeting with a team of executives about a company’s crisis communications strategy

All of these situations are true stories. Are you ready? Hopefully you are excited.

At PulsePoint Group, we ask a lot of and give a lot to our team members. As a Senior Associate, you’ll work with both Associates and more senior members of the team to 2 oversee the creation of deliverables and manage projects. You’ll also regularly, directly interact with C-suite and SVP-level clients at Fortune 500 companies during meetings and research gathering.

To succeed in your day-to-day work you’ll need to leverage various skill sets including project management, motivating team members, designing research processes, data analysis, and client service. You will have the opportunity to own deliverables from ideation to creation, as well as travel to and participate in client meetings. Our leaders take support and oversight seriously, but place a lot of trust in Senior Associates’ experience, instinct and creativity.

No two days are likely to be the same, but you can be assured that you’ll be challenged, inspired and engaged, by doing interesting work for respected companies.
